Advertisment billboards where replaced by abstract images. The images are photographs taken from a nearby view point. They have lost any meaning or history, loosing all possible link to its original reality.
Se sustituyeron vallas comunes de publicidad por imágenes "abstractas" tomadas en un punto cercano a las mismas, sin estar auxiliadas de texto.
Son imágenes que quedan vacías de contenido e historia, perdiendo todo vínculo con su realidad original.
SMOKE SIGNALS / SEÑALES DE HUMO
Its the creation of a QR code using the ink from the fire smoke as "ink". The resulting image is then printed as sticker and placed in different parts of Havana city.
Consiste en crear un Código Bidimensional (QR / Quick Response - Respuesta Rápida), utilizando como "tinta" el tizne producido por el humo del fuego. Luego el mismo es reproducido en pegatinas que intervienen diferentes puntos de la Ciudad de La Habana, Cuba.
